Items for planning Cycle 8 proposals

This news announcement is to provide information needed to plan ALMA Cycle 8 proposals, prior to the Call for Proposals in March.

As previously announced, the ALMA Proposal Review Process at Cycle 8 will use a dual-anonymous procedure. The guidelines are given here.

The ALMA configuration files to be used in simulations for Cycle 8 proposals, are the same as those provided at Cycle 7, noting that the longest baseline configurations C43-9 and C43-10 will not be offered.
